Feds Called to Investigate Death of Mom, Twins After Doctor Divorce (2025)
Investigators are probing the mysterious deaths of Arkansas mother Charity Beallis and her two 6-year-old children, who were found shot inside their rural home just one day after a contentious divorce and custody hearing with her doctor ex-husband. Authorities have executed multiple search warrants, brought in the Secret Service and Department of Homeland Security, and are reviewing the family’s history, including the doctor’s prior guilty plea for domestic violence and the fact that another one of his wives died from a gunshot wound in 2012. While no suspects have been named, investigators are still determining whether the deaths were murder, or something else, as the case draws national attention and intense scrutiny.
