Did the CIA Kill A Hollywood Writer? The Writer With No Hands (2021)
Academic Matthew Alford explores fresh evidence in a Hollywood cold case. A university professor, Matthew Alford, suspects the CIA killed a Hollywood screenwriter Gary DeVore to protect a government secret. Alford believes it was an assassination, disguised as a car accident. So, he contacts a filmmaker to document the evidence he has accumulated. When Alford receives a phone call warning him to leave the case alone, he heads to Hollywood to conduct his own investigation. With unprecedented access to key witnesses and the family of the deceased, he builds a case for murder and thinks he has uncovered the real reason the Hollywood screenwriter found himself in deep water. Later, however, it becomes clear that there is a fundamental flaw in his case for a CIA assassination. He finds compelling which supports the idea that the man might not be dead at all and his death was faked. Alford returns to the UK torn between the two hypotheses. His last hope is an informant who has agreed to help find proof despite his concerns that it’s dangerous. Unfortunately, days after the informant agrees to help, he too is found dead in a shopping mall. The audience is left to decide what really happened as Alford appears to lose his sanity and succumbs to an investigation entangled in mystery, scandal, threat and a hunger for the truth. Killing Michael Jackson (Full Documentary) Real Stories (2021)
Killing Michael Jackson is a 2019 documentary film directed and produced by ZigZag, focusing on the death of singer Michael Jackson. The documentary features Orlando Martinez, Dan Myers and Scott Smith – three detectives who were involved in the initial investigation of Jackson's death. On June 25, 2009, American singer Michael Jackson died of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication at his home on North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills. His personal physician, Conrad Murray, said he found Jackson in his room, not breathing and with a weak pulse, and administered CPR on Jackson to no avail. On August 28, 2009, the Los Angeles County Coroner ruled that Jackson's death was a homicide. Shortly before his death, Jackson had reportedly been administered propofol and two anti-anxiety benzodiazepines, lorazepam, and midazolam, in his home. Law enforcement officials charged Murray with involuntary manslaughter on November 7, 2011, and served two years of his four-year prison sentence, early release per good behavior.
