This disturbing true crime story that was a real life thriller began in 2017, when 911 got a call from Amanda and Wayne. They said they had made a citizen arrest of Amanda's ex-husband, local pastor Sayantan, for trespassing at their home. The operator told Amanda and Wayne to put down their guns, which they were using to hold Sayantan. By the time police arrived at the scene of the shocking true crime case, they found Wayne dead - with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, launching a real life murder mystery. Amanda had been shot in the arm and leg, but was still alive. During a full police interview, Amanda told investigators that Sayantan had escaped, shooting her and Wayne on his way out. Officers put out an APB for Sayantan, who was soon located in New Mexico and arrested. There, detectives conducted a full police interrogation. In the end, investigators uncovered a twisted true crime story of fatal attraction.
