Forty-three-year-old Robyn Polston of Washington, Illinois, has been arrested and charged with criminal sexual assault and child pornography after DNA evidence confirmed that a 14-year-old boy fathered her infant son. The investigation revealed that Polston, who previously chaperoned the boy at a dance, allegedly used burner phones and explicit images to maintain a relationship with the teenager while community members and family members called for her arrest. Despite the evidence and a judge's ruling to keep her in jail as a flight risk, Polston recently pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for a court appearance in January. Madison Bergmann, 26, was sentenced to six years in prison and six years of supervised release after pleading guilty to charges related to her sexting and "making out" with an 11-year-old student. Bergmann was engaged to be married and a teacher at River Crest Elementary School in Hudson, Wisconsin when her inappropriate behavior was discovered. Bergmann sobbed in court as she learned her punishment and the judge described her behavior as "unbelievable."
