In 1998, Sikh woman, Sarbjit Kaur Athwal, played witness to the arranged murder of her sister-in-law, Surjit Kaur Athwal, who was ordered to be killed by their mother-in-law, Bachan Kaur. Leaving her two young children behind, Surjit was lured to India by her mother-in-law and killed for shaming the family after threatening to end her unhappy marriage to Kaur's son. Proud of her actions, Kaur revealed the truth to Sarbjit, warning her that she would be next if she also stepped out of line.Sarbjit had the courage to tell her father who, in turn, reported the crime to the police. In March 2012, 19-year-old Elisa Frank was forced to watch helplessly as her former lover, Ahmad Otak, ferociously stabbed both her sister Kim and best friend Samantha, before bundling Elisa into a car and driving to Dover. Having been in an abusive relationship with Otak, the attack was sparked when Elisa had plucked up the courage to leave him. Elisa was lucky enough to escape on the way to Dover and run to a nearby house to find help. Otak has since been convicted and sentenced to life, with a minimum of 34 years in prison. The murder of a 50 year old Gameskeeper Nigel Bacon in November 2008. This was a contract killing. Nigel's wife Susan and his son Michael hired hitman Peter Jacques to kill Bacon. It was described as a crime of greed and loathing. Nigel had a history of domestic violcence but also has more than 150 thousand pounds in cash at the family home. Susan and Michael were in debt and wanted him dead. This is the story of Michael's other children. Chilling and powerful documentary about an American brother and sister who claim their father is a serial killer responsible for the deaths of over 50 men, women and children. The murder of 17 year old single mum Laura Wilson in October 2010 by her ex boyfriend Ashtiaq Ashgar in the Fareham area of Rotherham. Laura had been in a relationship with Ashgar but had a child to one of his friends Ishaq Hussein. Laura shamed Ashgar and brought dishonour to his family in his eyes when she went around to his house to tell his mother she wanted to be with Ashgar. She paid with her life. It was discovered that Laura was identified as being at risk of sexual exploitation by British born Pakistani men in that area An area known for the grooming of white girls. Laura left behind her four month old daughter who is now being raised by her mum and her sister as they try and deal with the horrific murder. On Bonfire night 2012, 30 year old Michelle Mills murdered her toyboy boyfriend Eddie Miller in their cottage in Scalford, Leicestershire. Mills stabbed Eddie more than 20 times. In a horrific story of a holiday romance gone wrong, Kurdish Turk Ensar Gol brutally murdered his 28 year old wife Michala and his mother in law 50 year old Julie Sahin in Thame, Oxfordshire in September 2011. Gol stabbed Michala more than 40 times in front of their four year old daughter and then stabbed Julie more than 50 times before heading into Thame town centre armed with the knife. With incredible access to dramatic CCTV footage of Gol's arrest, we chat the course of events that led to the murders. Michala met Waiter Gol in Bodrum in 2007 and had two children with him before marrying him in March 2011. Gol eventually got his visa and moved to the UK in August but less than a month later he'd killed them.
