Lloyd Preston Brewer III — a wealthy Key West real estate mogul — shot and killed 21-year-old Garrett Hughes after Super Bowl LVII because Hughes was urinating on the side of his building. Hughes was shirtless, unarmed, in flip flops. Brewer called 911, stood his ground, and told detectives four words: "I feared for my life." The surveillance footage told a different story.
