In 2012 a man called Carl Beech told Wiltshire police he had been one of the many victims of serial sex offender Jimmy Savile. His claims were initially dismissed but in 2014 all eyes would be on Beech when he began disclosing more and more about the horrors he had endured including being systematically raped and abused by some of the most powerful men within the British government. He said he had also personally witnessed the abuse of other children as the murder of 3 of them. This led to the Police initiating Operation Midland. In the early morning of Saturday 27th March 2004 a man called Paul Boren sped over to the Arrowwood apartments in Sherman Texas. Inside apartment 340 lived his daughter 20 year old Laura Boren and his two grandchildren aged just 1 and 4 years old. Paul was terrified as Laura’s mentally ill and dangerous estranged husband Andre Thomas had been seen walking in the direction of the complex. When Paul arrived he walked into a scene of horror, all 3 of his family members were dead, stabbed to death and their organs had been removed. Andre Thomas was soon detained and told the Police that he thought that God wanted him to kill the victims. In the early hours of Sunday 18th December 1994 a 27 year old woman called Alison Botha pulled up outside her home in Port Elizabeth, a city in South Africa unaware that she was being watched by a dangerous predator. In an instant a normal night turned into the start of a nightmare when a man appeared and held a knife to her throat. Her abductor then pushed her over to the passenger seat of the car and after picking up his accomplice drove to the outskirts of the city. Here Alison was subjected to a brutal sexual attack before being stabbed multiple times disembowelling her and having her throat cut to the point where she was almost decapitated. She was then left for dead. In late 2014, a 29 year old British national called Rurik Jutting appeared to be living a life most of us could only dream about, he was Cambridge educated, living in a luxury apartment block in the Wan Chai area of Hong Kong and receiving a salary of at least a quarter of a million pounds a year from his job in banking. However, in October 2014, Jutting appeared to throw it all away, resigning from his position and posting a cryptic message which said quote: "I am out of the office. Indefinitely. For urgent enquiries, or indeed any enquiries, please contact someone who is not an insane psychopath”. This statement gave an insight into who Jutting was beneath his mask, a sexual sadist, a man who, for years had fantasies about torturing and mutilating woman and when he changed this message he was sitting in an apartment where he had partially decapitated a woman who he had tortured for 3 days whose body was hidden on his balcony and he was far from done. Hainault in East London was broken by the sounds of screaming and shouting. A man had driven his van into a pedestrian before crashing into a house. This was no accident the man behind the wheel, 36 year old Marcus Monzo was on a mission to kill. Over the next 20 minutes Monzo hacked and slashed at multiple people with a samurai sword including pedestrians, two police officers and a couple in their own home. In the early evening of Wednesday 22nd August 2007 11 year old Rhys Jones was walking home on his way back from football practice in the Croxteth area of Liverpool in the UK but he would never make it there. As he crossed the Fir Tree pub car park shots rang out and Rhys fell to the floor, a bullet had entered his back and exited his neck, this innocent child was rushed to hospital but pronounced dead soon afterwards. On Monday 26th July 2021 the body of a 30 year old man called Jorge Martin Carreno was pulled out of the river Cherwell in Oxford, it was initially thought he had simply fallen in whilst drunk and drowned but he had been murdered. In the early hours of Sunday 17th October 2004 Police and paramedics were called to an incident in the Crosshill area of Glasgow in Scotland after being told simply that something had happened in a top floor flat in Dixon Avenue. Nothing could have prepared them for what they saw. Inside the property were the mutilated bodies of 3 men surrounded by the weapons used to torture and kil them including knives a baseball bat and golf clubs. The floors walls and ceiling were covered with pints of blood as well as pieces of skull and brain matter. In May 2007 the world was gripped by the story of missing 3 year old Madeleine McCann who went missing whilst on a family holiday in Praia da Luz in Portugal. Almost 16 years later a Polish woman called Julia Wandelt grew a massive online following claiming that she was the missing child using the profile name @IAmMadeleineMcCann.
