Holly Sheppard has now been charged with the 2018 murder of a 22-day-old baby in Oklahoma City — five years after she was first investigated, but not charged, due to lack of evidence. Authorities in Washington State announced they may have found the remains of Travis Decker, the Army veteran accused of killing his three young daughters before disappearing into the wilderness in May. “Student of the Month” Nikita Casap has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, for the alleged killings of his mother, Tatiana Casap, and stepfather, Donald Mayer. A jury found Maya Hernandez guilty on two counts of child endangerment in the death of her 1-year-old son, who died after being left in a hot car while she went to a cosmetic appointment, but jurors deadlocked on murder and involuntary manslaughter, prompting a mistrial on those charges. Prosecutors said Hernandez initially told police she went inside for a lip filler appointment, but testimony at trial from a spa worker claimed she actually received a liquid Brazilian butt lift. A Pennsylvania couple is facing felony child endangerment charges after allegedly forcing a young boy to live for months in a backyard shed without plumbing, access to regular food, or basic hygiene. Police say the child was exiled for “inappropriate behavior,” made to drink from a garden hose, use leaves instead of toilet paper, and pay for his own food — until he finally refused to return to the shed, prompting a violent confrontation with the man, a self-described bishop. Daryl, a bishop, and Grace Sensenig were arrested following the incident and released on bail, while the child is now in the care of extended family.
