Autopsy results for the woman found dead in a Dollar Tree freezer last December in Miami are in and are adding to the mystery surrounding her death. Dr. Helen Garay Sanchez was visiting Miami from Nicaragua when she went to the Dollar Tree store on the evening of December 13, 2025. A store employee found her naked in the freezer the next morning. The medical examiner has released a cause of death but has not determined the manner of death. Law enforcement in Nevada is investigating the murder of 37-year-old artist Vadim Kruglov, who was found stabbed in the neck at Burning Man on August 30th. A routine traffic stop in Marion County, Florida, turned into chaos when 25-year-old Jordan Skeene allegedly rammed a deputy’s patrol car and led officers on a high-speed chase through a neighborhood before crashing and fleeing on foot. Deputies discovered a baby inside the vehicle along with guns and drugs, sparking outrage from the child’s family as medics rushed in to check on the infant, who was thankfully unharmed. Skeene, already on probation, was arrested and now faces multiple charges including aggravated assault, child neglect, fleeing and eluding, and probation violation, and remains in jail awaiting his next court date. Authorities now believe 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, was taken from her Tucson-area home against her will during the night, shifting the case from a disappearance to a suspected abduction.
