A former Arkansas principal of a school for children with autism pleaded guilty after orchestrating a disturbing “fight club,” directing 18 students to physically and verbally attack a 13-year-old boy while she encouraged the abuse. Surveillance footage and court records show she participated in the assault and that multiple staff members witnessed it but failed to intervene or report it. Despite the severity of the incident, she was sentenced to just 30 days in jail, along with probation, house arrest, and a lifetime ban from working with children. Dayton Webber, a quad-amputee and former inspirational athlete turned professional cornhole player, has been indicted for first-degree murder in the shooting death of 27-year-old Bradrick Wells in Maryland. Investigators say Webber shot Wells during an argument inside a car, fled the scene, and allegedly dumped his body before being arrested more than 100 miles away. While prosecutors say the shooting is not in dispute, Webber’s attorney claims it was self-defense, framing the case as “kill or be killed” as he now faces the possibility of life in prison. Newly released bodycam shows the Virginia man accused of killing his wife sobbing, crying, and praying for his wife in the hospital after investigators claim he killed her. Brendan Banfield is accused of killing his wife, Christine, and another man, Joseph Ryan, inside the family’s home in February 2023. Brendan Banfield and the family au pair, Juliana Peres Magalhães, were reportedly in a relationship at the time of the murders.
