An Army veteran, angered over poorly fitting dentures, allegedly attacked staff at a Texas dental office before retrieving a gun from his truck and fatally shooting two dentists. Witnesses say he had a history of aggressive behavior and became enraged after being dismissed as a patient and offered a refund, returning moments later to carry out the deadly attack. Deputies later arrested him at his home, where he was found wearing body armor, and he ultimately pleaded guilty to capital murder, receiving life in prison without parole. Stefan Andres Correa, a pharmacist in the Miami area, will spend the rest of his life in prison after investigators discovered that he traveled to Medellin, Colombia at least 45 times over the last two years to have sex with underage girls. Police investigating the deadly shooting of dentist Spencer Tepe and his wife Monique inside their Columbus home have released new surveillance video showing a person of interest walking through an alley behind the house between 2 and 5 a.m. on the morning of the killings. The couple was found dead after coworkers and friends requested wellness checks when Spencer failed to show up for work, while their two young children and family dog were found unharmed inside the home. Ariel Spillner, a 26-year-old pharmacy student from Wisconsin, was fatally shot while visiting a friend’s house to celebrate a birthday in Milwaukee. Police say her alleged killer, 32-year-old Jamica Simone Mills, who was also her close friend, claimed she became paranoid after smoking weed, retrieved a gun, and accidentally shot Ariel before injuring herself. A successful Houston restaurateur and fashion entrepreneur, 39-year-old Thy Mitchell, along with her two young children, was found shot to death inside the family’s home, and police say the killer was her husband, Matthew Mitchell. A mother in Macon, Georgia initially told 911 she didn’t know who shot a man in her apartment, but later admitted she helped set up an ambush after she says he had attacked her at gunpoint days earlier. She lured him back to her home where her accomplice, Waymond Danzy, confronted him, but during the violent struggle Danzy was shot and killed while the alleged shooter fled. Though Jada Johnson was charged with felony murder, prosecutors ultimately dropped that charge due to lack of evidence and instead gave her a plea deal for aggravated assault, resulting in a 20-year sentence with five years to serve.
