Ted Block was cutting down a tree in April 2024 when his neighbor walked into his yard with a handgun and began to argue with him. Cole Hornsby fired five shots at Block and killed him as his wife watched. Deputies in Hamilton County, Ohio, responded and found Hornsby standing near Block and took him into custody. Hornsby was recently found guilty of murder at trial. Newly released body camera video shows police in Del City, Oklahoma discovering 70-year-old Debra Valentine dead inside her cluttered home, where officers believed she had been deceased for several days. Her son, Duane Valentine, was sitting outside when officers arrived and claimed he hadn’t spoken to his mother for days, telling police she had been sick and sleeping. A woman dressed as a UPS driver sparked alarm in a Washington neighborhood after residents spotted her wandering from house to house for hours. Deputies detained 37-year-old Heather Bevier, discovering the uniform was fake and uncovering a gun, ammunition, burglary tools, drugs, and a notebook containing debit card numbers.
