In Barberton, Ohio, 35-year-old Jacob Culbertson was arrested after a domestic dispute with his father escalated into a violent confrontation with police. Despite warnings that Culbertson wore body armor and kept a collection of weapons, officers were allegedly ambushed and struck with a hammer when they forced entry into his bedroom. Culbertson now faces charges of felonious assault and domestic violence, though he continues to claim self-defense as his attorney requests a competency and sanity evaluation. Erick Nimsey was arrested after allegedly stabbing his father multiple times and making chilling threats during a 911 call, even asking the dispatcher which side of the body he should stab next. Newly released bodycam footage shows officers confronting Nimsey at the bloody crime scene, where his father was found alive and later hospitalized. Police say David Phillip Turner drove hundreds of miles from Florida to Maryland to fatally shoot his ex-wife, Crimea Baker, and her boyfriend, Sean Lange, more than 40 times in a rage-fueled attack carried out while four young children hid inside the home. Turner, who was found weeks later on a Florida beach, was arrested and charged with two counts of murder after allegedly breaking into the couple’s home through the back door. It took an ax and a pair of bolt cutters to free a Kentucky woman from a large chain and padlock that were wrapped around her neck. She told police that the father of her child, Moises May, had chained her up and threatened to kill her when he returned from running errands.
