Blake Linkous is accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend, 18-year-old Natalie Martin, while on a post-graduation trip in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Linkous is expected to take a plea in the case Monday afternoon. Martin, a recent graduate of Philo High School in Duncan Falls, Ohio, was found dead in the bedroom of a rental home on June 7, 2023. Authorities believe Linkous strangled her the day before, following an argument over Martin texting another man. According to reports, Linkous locked himself in the room with Martin’s body for hours before emerging with a self-inflicted stab wound. Friends discovered Martin unresponsive and attempted CPR, but she was already deceased. Linkous was arrested by Horry County Police on June 8 and charged with one count of murder. Former Louisiana labor and delivery nurse Dustin Clark, 30, was arrested after admitting to slapping his 5-month-old adopted son, allegedly fracturing the infant’s skull.
