In early 2016, a regional sheriff’s department responded to a report of human remains discovered in a wooded area near a major highway. Deputies located dismembered body parts, with precise cuts at the neck and major joints, clearly indicating a homicide. A forensic anthropologist later determined the remains belonged to a young adult male, estimated to be between his early 20s and mid-30s, of average height. Limited soft tissue suggested the body had likely been placed at the site sometime in late 2015. Despite an extensive investigation using advanced forensic techniques, including isotope testing, authorities were unable to identify the victim for several years. That finally changed in mid-2020. #interrogation #interrogationpsychology
