Just minutes before a phone call to 911, a woman shot her husband in the face five times. And once she was arrested, detectives realized she was neither insane nor a good actor—just a cold-blooded wife who thought she could get away with murder. With her in custody, detectives descended on the scene to discover a 38-year-old man lying on the ground near the doorway to the home. Bullet holes riddled the door above his head, and bullet casings surrounded him. He had several gunshot wounds to the face.
