This real life horror story started with the murder of a beloved grandmother. In the end, investigators solve the shocking true crime case, putting an unexpected killer behind bars. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In September 2014, warm-hearted grandmother Anita Fox was found stabbed to death inside the Colleyville, Texas home where she worked as a housekeeper. A witness describes seeing a heavier set older man with grey hair leaving the crime scene. When detectives show Anita’s son a sketch of the man, he tells them he saw the suspect with another man at a local gas station a few days before the murder. He was suspicious enough to take a photo of their truck, but it was too blurry to read the license plate. Investigators also discovered Anita’s son-in-law, Mark Buckland had taken a $5 million insurance policy out on Anita without her knowledge. When asked about the policy, Mark revealed it had become too expensive, so he had transferred it to a man named Patrick Gorman. While looking into Patrick, police discovered his brother, Bernard “Big Joe” Gorman matched the sketch of the suspect seen leaving the crime scene. Investigators also learned Big Joe’s son, Bernard “Little Joe” Gorman drove a truck that matched the one in the photo Anita’s son had taken.
