This disturbing true crime story made headline news in Lubbock. After a 26-year-old is killed in a shocking true crime case, police launched a homicide investigation. As police conducted a series of full police interviews, they uncovered an even more twisted true crime case than they could have ever imagined. While their prime suspect claimed they were dealing with a real life murder mystery, police theorized that they were actually dealing with fatal attraction and a killer affair. There, they found 26-year-old Kyera “Polly” Jones alive but unresponsive. She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced deceased - the victim of a stabbing. When detectives launched a homicide investigation, they learned the man who called 911, 57-year-old Winston Caraway, had told the operator that Polly was in a fight and had been asleep for two days.
