This real life horror story made hit headline news in Connecticut. The disturbing true crime story began in 2013, when a pregnant woman was gunned down in her own vehicle, killing her and her unborn child. Police tried to solve the twisted true crime case, but soon discovered a real life murder mystery without the evidence necessary to lay charges. Detectives worried the case was going to go cold. Then police interrogations tied to a string of robberies changed everything in this unbelievable true crime story. With one perp being a prime suspect in the murder and the other claiming to have key information, detectives were able to use full police interviews to convince a perp to buddy up to them and give up the evidence needed to finally crack the case. What they discovered was a shocking true crime story marked by fatal attraction and a horrifying motive. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On April 29, 2013, soon-to-be mother Shamari Jenkins was shot while driving in Hartford, Connecticut. She and her unborn child both passed away. Her boyfriend Carlton "CJ" Bryan survived the attack. Bryan stated that the shooter was a man who tried to rob them. Police tracked down the man, but he had an alibi. When investigators learned that Bryan had been upset about Shamari's pregnancy and had been trying to force her into having an abortion, they suspected he could be involved in the murder. They soon got tips that Bryan's friend Matthew "Allen" Hall-Davis had also been involved. Without enough evidence to prove a case against either man though, there was little detectives could do. Then, in May 2013, Hall-Davis was arrested in Manchester, Connecticut for a string of armed robberies. Surveillance footage showed that he was working with a co-conspirator, who is IDed as Kingsley Minto.
