Investigations turned cold, and there was just no answer as to who could have done this. Nearly 4 years later, On September 18th, 2018, 27-year-old William Leverett walks into the police station, along with fellow church members including his pastor with information that would finally answer the mystery that had been plaguing the department for years. This is the No BS interrogation of William Leverett. (SPOILERS BELOW) William Leverett initially pleaded not guilty to the murder in 2018... He then changed his plea to guilty in 2022 On May 3, 2022 Leverett was sentenced to 35 years in prison followed by 7 years of special parole.
