A Wisconsin couple — mechanical engineer Paul Van Duyne and pharmacy student Andrea Whitaker — are accused of attempting to murder two of Paul’s former romantic partners using a sophisticated series of poison attacks involving banned substances like thallium, cyanide, abrin, and hydrogen sulfide.
