On January 26, 1979, 16-year-old high school student Kim Bryant was abducted in broad daylight from a Dairy Queen on North Decatur Boulevard, near U.S. Highway 95 in Las Vegas. She had been waiting for a ride from her boyfriend when she vanished into thin air. A search ensued after she was reported missing, but with no luck. Her body was found in a desert area a month later. A lengthy investigation ensued, spanning decades, yet all available investigative leads were exhausted. The case remained unsolved until 2021.
