Wrapped in a fur coat and covered with leaves, their discovery pointed to a close relative, possibly their mother, as the suspect, though motives remain unclear and unanswered. 00:43:15 Episode 2 Elden Jacobs and Marilyn Merman were found shot to death in a remote British Columbia cabin. Lloyd James DeLand, known for erratic and violent behavior, confessed years later during an undercover operation. The murders appeared to stem from a sudden, heated dispute, with no clear motive, and DeLand showed little remorse in his detailed confession. 01:23:00 Episode 3 Susan Galvin was found dead and the case went unsolved for years. DNA testing led investigators to a new suspect, Frank Whipit, whose genetic profile matched evidence from the crime scene.
