Just over a week later, seniors Sidney and Billie Shelton were murdered in their beds. Similarities at the scenes suggested to police that they were dealing with a serial killer. Detectives interviewed known local criminal Tim Parlin who pointed the finger at Navy veteran and certifiable genius, Shawn Gant-Benalcazar. While they doubted Parlin's claims, police brought Gant-Benalcazar in for questioning to eliminate him from the investigation. As investigators spoke with Shawn Gant-Benalcazar - a master manipulator in his own mind, they went from thinking he could be a witness to a killer.
