This shocking true crime story made headline news in Texas and Louisiana as the investigators from the Killing Fields tv series tried to solve this real life murder mystery. While still being followed for their series, Iberville investigators, including Detective Aubrey St Angelo, used a series of full police interviews to try to unravel this disturbing true crime case that saw a young mother's body being dumped off an interstate. Through their investigation, police uncovered a real life horror story where a once loving relationship turned deadly. Even when they felt they knew how this twisted true crime story unfolded, investigators weren't able to find the evidence they needed... until 5-year-old eyewitness was interviewed and revealed the truth. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On April 23, 2016, the body of 28-year-old mother-of-two Elizabeth Ferrell was discovered by fishermen in a Louisiana waterway. Police determined she had been beaten and strangled to death before being tossed from the I-10 Highway bridge. Elizabeth lived 250 miles away in Humble, Texas and police worked to determine how she ended up so far from home. As investigators dig into the case, they discover multiple suspects, including a convicted sex offender, a brand new boyfriend, and an estranged husband.
