Where on October 18, 2023 19-year-old Santiago Roybal was shot and killed after attempting to hide in a friends apartment... He and his friend were shot through the door... Roybal would be killed and his friend injured. The subject in this video, 16-year-old Dylana Barela had informed the Albuquerque Police Department that she believed a man had been stalking her and looking into her bedroom window for several months. On the day of the incident, Barela spotted Roybal in her backyard and she alerted her family. She armed herself with a handgun, her 15-year-old brother armed himself with a baseball bat, and the two of them along with their mother loaded into their SUV to "hunt" Roybal down... After chasing Santiago Roybal down the street, he ran upstairs to take refuge in his friends apartment. Dylana fired 4 shots through the door, striking Roybal in the chest... He was pronounced on the scene. Almost a month later, on November 14, 2023, Albuquerque PD located Dylana and her family in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, which is about 17 miles north of Albuquerque. All three were taken in for questioning. Dylana is the only one that discussed the incident with detectives. This is the No BS Interrogation of Dylana Barela. (SPOILERS BELOW) Dylana's Mother, Raeanna Ruiz pleaded guilty to 2nd-degree murder, conspiracy, and aggravated battery. On June 26, 2025, she was sentenced to 20 years in state prison. Dylana Barela has been charged with an open count of murder and tampering with evidence. She entered a plea of not guilty... During her detention hearing, the judge noted the severe nature of the "hunting down" of Santiago Roybal, which was caught on surveillance video, and he ordered her to be held without bond.
