Travis Ray Thompson became known in Florida criminal cases after being convicted of the 2022 murder of 2-year-old Jacklyn known as “Kade”. Prosecutors later described the killing as an act of extreme violence against a defenseless child. Authorities alleged Thompson was directly responsible for Kade’s fatal injuries, leading to a First Degree Murder conviction and a life sentence.
