Alive Killers

Stephen Port, widely referred to as the Grindr Killer, was a British serial killer who targeted young men he met through online dating platforms, particularly Grindr. Operating in London between 2014 and 2015, he used deception to lure victims to his home, where he drugged them with lethal doses of GHB before sexually assaulting and murdering them. Port’s crimes were marked by manipulation and calculated staging, often disposing of victims’ bodies in or near public areas and attempting to mislead police by planting false evidence. His actions exposed serious investigative failures by authorities, as opportunities to stop him earlier were missed. He was eventually arrested, convicted, and sentenced to life imprisonment.

Tamika Chesser became the focus of one of Australia’s most shocking criminal investigations after being charged over the alleged murder and dismemberment of her partner in South Australia in 2025. The former reality television contestant and model was accused of killing her boyfriend, Julian Story, inside their Port Lincoln home before allegedly attempting to burn and conceal parts of his remains. The gruesome allegations generated intense national media attention due to Chesser’s past appearance on Australian television and the disturbing details surrounding the case. Investigators described the crime scene as confronting and complex, while reports surrounding Chesser’s mental state, alleged psychosis and detention inside a psychiatric facility added further controversy and public fascination to the investigation.

The Tammi Pointer Killers refers to the group of six offenders responsible for the abduction, prolonged assault, murder, and burning of 18-year-old Alishah "Tammi" Pointer in Gary, Indiana, in October 1990. The offenders acted together throughout the crime, which culminated in Pointer being set on fire while still alive. The case remains one of Indiana's most notorious group murders because of its extreme violence, multiple perpetrators, and the lengthy prison sentences imposed following their convictions.

Thayne Ormsby is an American man convicted of a 2010 triple homicide in Maine. At the age of 20, he carried out a violent attack resulting in multiple deaths within a single incident. He was later arrested, convicted, and sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

Tracy Jones became known in Georgia criminal cases after being convicted in the 2012 murder of Gale Spencer during a home invasion robbery in Macon, Georgia. Prosecutors alleged Jones acted alongside three co-defendants during the fatal robbery. The case generated local media attention because multiple offenders participated in the violent crime. Authorities alleged Thompson was directly responsible for Kade’s fatal injuries, leading to a First Degree Murder conviction and a life sentence. Tristan Roberts became the subject of a major homicide investigation after murdering his mother, Angela Shellis, at Coed y Morfa nature reserve near Prestatyn, North Wales, in October 2025. Vickrum Digwa became known in British criminal history after the murder of 18-year-old university student Henry Nowak in Southampton, England, on December 3, 2025. Prosecutors argued Digwa fatally stabbed the first-year University of Southampton student during a confrontation before attempting to portray himself as the victim when police arrived at the scene. The case attracted national attention because of the circumstances surrounding the stabbing and the controversy that followed. During the investigation and trial, prosecutors alleged Digwa falsely claimed Henry had attacked him and subjected him to racial abuse. The jury rejected those claims and convicted Digwa of murder.
