After shopping, she pulled into a nearby gas station to refuel her car. But Wendy would never make it back home. The following morning, her lifeless body was found concealed in the trunk of her car, mere blocks away from where she was last seen. The mystery surrounding her murder cast a long shadow over the years, with investigators unable to unravel the truth.
