Just after midday on Monday 4th September 2023, Minot Central Dispatch in the US state of North Dakota received a 911 call from a 48 year old woman called Ina Kenoyer who was concerned about her partner, 51 year old Steven Riley. An ambulance was called and Steven was on the brink of death, he never regained consciousness and died the next day. An autopsy showed that he had been poisoned with antifreeze and all evidence pointed to Kenoyer. Her motive, to inherit 30 million dollars that she believed Steven was due to inherit, but there was just one problem, it was all a scam.
