Hollie, 28, was killed by her estranged husband in her kitchen in Knighton, Wales, while children were present. She is one of two women killed weekly by ex-partners in England and Wales. Women account for over 80% of partner homicide victims, mostly male perpetrators. A study identified an eight-step "murder timeline," including stalking history, coercive control, triggers like relationship endings, escalation, planning, and fatal violence.
