JoAnn Cunningham and Andrew Freund spent most of their son, AJ Freund’s, life abusing him and berating him. In April of 2019, the parents forced the 4 year old boy into a freezing cold shower before Cunningham beat him with a detachable shower head. AJ died later that night and the parents buried his body, before calling the police and reporting him missing.
